Agreement to Terms

By using the JR's Transportation Services website and submitting a booking request, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Service Requests

Submitting a quote request does not guarantee service availability. All bookings are subject to confirmation and scheduling availability.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate booking information

  • Respect vehicle safety policies

  • Follow driver instructions when required

  • Ensure passenger counts are accurate

Service Availability

Service areas, vehicle availability, and pricing may vary based on scheduling requirements, route distance, weather conditions, and operational capacity.

All content, logos, graphics, and materials on this website are the property of JR's Transportation Services and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

JR’s Transportation Services is not responsible for any personal belongings, items, or property left behind in the vehicle following service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

Age & Authority

By submitting a booking request, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the legal authority to enter into a service agreement on behalf of an organization, school, or group.

Driver Hours & Working Regulations

All drivers operate in full compliance with Alberta transportation regulations governing maximum driving and working hours. JR’s Transportation Services reserves the right to adjust, delay, or cancel service if continuing operations would violate driver safety standards or applicable legal hour requirements.

Overnight & Out-of-Town Trips

For trips requiring drivers to travel out of town or stay overnight, the client is responsible for covering the cost of the driver’s hotel accommodation, meals, and reasonable travel expenses for the duration of the trip. These costs will be communicated to the client in advance and will be included in or added to the booking invoice.

Cancellation Policy

Booking Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. JR's Transportation Services strives to provide flexibility whenever possible.

1.1 Notice Period
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service may qualify for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24–48 hours may be subject to a partial service fee.

  • Same-day cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.

1.2 Personal Items

JR’s Transportation Services is not responsible for any personal items, belongings, or property left behind in the vehicle.”

1.3 Vehicle Cleanliness & Eating Policy

Eating inside the vehicle is permitted; however, passengers are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. JR’s Transportation Services is not responsible for cleaning costs incurred after service. A $300 cleaning fee will be charged if the vehicle requires cleaning following a trip.

1.4 Eating & Choking Liability

JR’s Transportation Services and its drivers are not responsible for any choking incidents that occur on board. If eating is permitted during the trip, a supervising adult must be present and accountable for passenger safety. This responsibility lies solely with the client, not the driver or the company.

1.5 Schedule Changes

Customers may request route, time, or passenger count adjustments prior to service. Changes are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

1.6 Weather and Emergency Situations

In the event of severe weather, road closures, or emergency circumstances, JR's Transportation Services reserves the right to reschedule services to ensure passenger safety.

1.7 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days depending on the financial institution.

PAYMENTS

Agreement to Payment

By using the JR's Transportation Services website and submitting a booking request, you agree to these Payment .

3.1 Accepted Payment Methods

“JR’s Transportation Services accepts the following payment methods:”

  • Credit and debit card

  • Cash

  • Corporate cheques (approved corporate accounts only)

  • Interac e-Transfer

  • EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

 

“All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD).”

3.2 One-Time Charters & Private Bookings

A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the scheduled service. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

3.3 School Routes & Recurring Contracts

Recurring service clients will be invoiced on a monthly basis. Payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date. Accounts overdue beyond 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

3.4 Additional Charges

Quoted prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply for extra stops, extended wait times, route changes, or fuel surcharges on long-distance trips. Any additional fees will be communicated to the client prior to service.

3.5 Returned Payments

A $40 fee will be applied to any returned cheques or failed e-Transfer payments.

3.6 Price Confirmation

Quoted prices are not guaranteed until a booking has been confirmed in writing by JR’s Transportation Services.

3.7 Cancellation & Refunds

Deposits paid are non-refundable on same-day cancellations. Same-day cancellations will not be eligible for a refund. Partial deposits may be retained for cancellations made within 24–48 hours, as outlined in the Cancellation Policy.
